Our History & Reputation
The Caroline County Dental Program has served over 500 children in our community to date. The program grew out of Caroline's Promise in its inception, and was initially primarily funded through a grant from the Virginia Health Care Foundation, Caroline County Department of Social Services, and Mary Washington Hospital Foundation.
The Dental Program currently serves children in Kindergarten through the Twelth grade. The Program has cutting edge technology. Our equipment and services are state of the art and are more advanced than many private practices.
We are proud to offer what we consider high quality comprehensive dental care for our eligible children.
In 2005, the program was recognized in Washington, D.C. and awarded a national award by the National Association of Counties.
Recently, the program was fortunate enough to receive the 2006 McMurtry Award for Excellence and Innovation in Community Health and Wellness.
